Sinclair Broadcast Group is seeking a Sales and Pricing Analyst for our Corporate offices. You will get to use your analytical skills to make a major contribution in supporting growth and profitability objectives by working closely with the Sr. Director, Yield and Inventory Management to evaluate client accounts and to price small and large scale new business opportunities.

Job Duties:

  • Manage the setting of rate cards and placing inventory to maximize revenue and returns
  • Analyze advertising sellouts by show and determine for other markets
  • Work closely with local TV stations, network, national sales on identifying opportunities for revenue
  • Analyze inventory across all revenue streams and research on appropriate revenue pricing
  • Determine where pricing needs to be across markets for advertising rates
  • Provide guidance to Sales leaders at stations for pricing options
  • Partner with Sinclair’s Advertising Support Operations
  • Communicate and research ad inventory forecasting, rate card pricing and packaging strategies with Sales Management for all audience product opportunities
  • Analyze the impact of market trends, compare stations with high CPM and low CPM and identify areas of opportunity for growth
  • Evaluate sales data and provide recommendations
  • The ability to make recommendations for pricing inventory

Required Experience:

  • Experience with data warehouses and Base CRM a plus
  • Critical Analytical thinking
  • Understanding of pricing and sales planning economics
  • Bachelors in any business discipline and 2 years of related experience, sales experience a plus
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as PowerPoint and Excel
