WhoWhatWhy is looking for experienced editors to handle a range of complex, essential responsibilities, including: managing the editorial department, overseeing our blog, tracking special projects, finding experts, promoting pieces, developing and assigning pitches, and recruiting freelancers.

If you’re a bonafide editor with expertise in any of these functions, we’d like to hear from you. The editor position is essentially pro bono for now, but down the road, as we grow, we offer possibilities of compensation. Also, we will pay for articles of yours we publish.

We have a very accomodating work culture. As long as you can devote enough time in a given week to seriously tackle this challenge, you’ll be able to do so working remotely on your own schedule with our far-flung, diverse team.

A nonprofit that accepts no advertising, WhoWhatWhy is staffed largely with skilled volunteers dedicated to elevating public awareness and fostering a more vigorous democracy.
