The Daily Gazette is looking for an energetic reporter to cover breaking news in the Capital

Region of New York state. We're looking for someone who has a strong desire to be first and

best -- first at breaking news online and best at developing breaking news into compelling

stories for the next day's print edition. The best candidate for this position will be fluent and

active in social media as a reporting tool and to drive engagement with readers and sources.

The candidate also must possess solid news judgment and a keen sense of what kinds of

stories garner the most reader engagement online.
