Spectrum's award-winning news team is looking for an energetic news editor to knock out stories that educate, challenge and inspire our deep-thinking audience of scientists.

This is an excellent opportunity for a science journalist to make an impact on the exciting field of autism.

You will be responsible for commissioning and editing news items, and coordinating the team's fast-paced coverage of autism and neuroscience at conferences around the world. Genetics, cognition and behavior, research ethics and molecular neuroscience quicken your heart. You are highly organized, and bursting with ideas and enthusiasm for leading a dynamic team of reporters.

Spectrum is funded by the Simons Foundation but is editorially independent.

Bring at least five years of experience to the table - preferably with experience in digital journalism - a solid biology background and impeccable news judgment. We offer a generous salary and truly excellent benefits.
