WJLA-TV & NewsChannel 8 is seeking a highly organized and detail oriented Sales Activation Coordinator who has strong written and oral communication skills to help support our Government Matters brand. This position will assist in the execution of exciting marketing programs such as sponsorships, webinars, custom TV shows, events, digital campaigns, etc.

This will be a customer facing position that will have direct contact with some of the most exciting brands in technology, aerospace and defense. This is a great opportunity for someone who has a desire to learn and evolve into a sales role.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordination and scheduling of multi-media campaigns
  • Working with custom media and editorial teams to execute client programs
  • Assist on calls and meetings with clients to determine needs
  • Creation of PowerPoint presentations, database management, and sales report maintenance
  • Efficiently work with the team of Marketing Consultants/Management team
  • Assist with support on campaign maintenance and recaps
  • Various administrative duties and contract management
  • Assist with social media engagement
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Skilled with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word Duties
  • Great attention to detail is essential
  • Strong analytical ability
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines while maintaining accuracy
