We are looking for a dynamic, go-getter to join our Brand Excellence Team.

Here's your chance to work as a Sr. Manager of Brand Quality on a newly formed team, with high visibility and significant customer impact. The successful candidate is experienced and passionate about driving QA processes, automation, and integration with other disciplines. Ideally, with experiences using content management systems and/or knowledge of digital media technologies.

You’ll have an opportunity to mentor and manage a team of testers that will be matrixed into Scrum agile teams.

Sinclair Digital is building new tools and improving existing workflows that will require exceptionally talented, bright, and driven people to help lead new processes and manage change within and across teams.

The Sr. Manager of Brand Quality will help steer agile driven development in a culture that is constantly experimenting and learning.

Responsibilities

  • Help shape the ongoing strategy and mission of the Sinclair Digital Brand Excellence team.
  • Recruit, hire, train, supervise, coach, develop and retain staff to meet quality objectives.
  • Work with offshore resources to ensure software quality is consistent with the same level as onshore.
  • Maintain the quality assurance and kaizen process for the Brand QA group and demonstrate quality improvement.
  • Collect software quality metrics and establish effective, automated, online reporting mechanisms.
  • Ensure all initiatives have a detailed test plan and established timelines and commitment to deliver.
  • Persistently pursue objectives when faced with unexpected obstacles and ensure success across teams.

Requirements Basic Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience in development and/or quality assurance
  • 2 years of experience in managing people
  • Experience with automated test tools such as Junit and concepts such as TDD
  • Exposure to testing on mobile and web
  • Ability to learn tools and workflows quickly
  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to testing on OTT devices such as AppleTV, Roku, etc.
  • Experience with content management systems
  • Experience with digital media technologies
  • Experience with Jira and Atlassian tools
