Sinclair Broadcast Group is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to provide guidance and take ownership on various compensation matters. Enthusiasm, great communication and attention to detail are must have attributes for this position.

Duties and responsibilities, include but not limited to the following:

  • Participate in salary surveys
  • Benchmarking
  • Respond to requests for compensation reviews and provide recommendations
  • Maintenance of compensation and job data within HRIS systems
  • Conduct compliance reviews and audits
  • Classification/job evaluation, including job structures, job levels, job competencies, grades, job descriptions, and EEO-1 categories
  • Support in the administration of compensation practices and policies
  • Analyze data and prepare reports
  • Training
  • Other tasks / projects as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related program of study
  • 3+ years of HR experience, concentration in compensation
  • Strong understanding of HR systems, policies and processes
  • Ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, able to work independently and have excellent communication skills
  • Solid experience with Microsoft Office and compensation systems/software is expected
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
