Description:

The Kodiak Daily Mirror, a Monday-Friday newspaper on Alaska's Emerald Isle, has an immediate opening for a general assignment reporter.

Read, write, edit and snap photos in one of the more beautiful places in the world. This job blends daily local news typical of a small newspaper with a chance at cracking open national stories on the environment, natural resources and missile defense. We also make sure that our reporters have time to work on long-term reporting projects.

We are located in a rainforest, so be prepared for about eight feet of rain each year.
