Based in Raymond, Maine, Dielectric LLC is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. and is a leading provider of innovative broadcast products. We design, engineer, and manufacture antennas, combiners, switches, diplexers, transmission lines and waveguides for television, and FM radio. We collaborate with the consultant community, as well as with its customers' engineering staffs, to design advanced and reliable antenna systems.

We are currently seeking two full-time experienced Machinists. This is a position that will perform machinery operations with both manual and CNC machines under minimal supervision. We are looking for a team player who is flexible and has the ability to maintain our quality standard. Must be willing to work in all departments to ensure that the business needs are met. One position will report to our Lewiston Plant and the other to our Raymond Plant.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ability to read and interpret drawings to determine production specifications and plant data
  • Skilled and knowledgeable in all aspects of manufacturing machinery
  • Ability to edit programs on machines without assistance
  • Identify, troubleshoot and correct any machinery problems
  • Able to run all machinery in a safe and timely manner
  • Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years working in a similar manufacturing environment
  • Strong product and safety knowledge a must
  • Aptitude for math, problem solving and computer skills.
  • Demonstrated organizational & communication skills with attention to detail and understanding of quality criteria
  • Able to work in a team environment with ability to plan and achieve goals
  • Analytical with strong problem solving abilities
