We are looking for a passionate and skilled socially inclined editors that can work as both a content producer and a marketer to spearhead a new social-media focused websites in the following subject areas:

LATINO
SCIENCE
AUTOS
ENTERTAINMENT/CELEB
ANDROID DEVICES
TECH
MUSIC, MUSIC STARS
KPOP

We are building content sites for the SOCIAL GENERATION -- candidates should understand this world show aptitude to engage this challenge.

This central-role will be the key rendezvous point for writers -- working hand-in-hand to promote and package their content as well as to make assignments and to ensure we’re serving our audience with content that they want.

You should have experience creating and marketing content across the major social-media platforms: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. You should be able to set and achieve audience and other performance goals and manage and budget against those goals.

You should be familiar with the daily ebb-and-flow of your desired subject area.


The role will start for one site but can span many sites depending on success.

 

Duties as Editor

  • Produce multi-platform content strategy with writers, including short/long form content that hits our target audience

  • Identify current social media trends and create strategies to stay ahead of those trends

  • Work with editorial team to define, create and promote content across social media platforms

  • Package editorial content with optimal social positioning, including image selection, headline testing, and writing and editing compelling social copy

  • Responsible for keeping traffic up and hitting goals

  • Light community management

 

Duties as Marketer

 

  • Orchestrate paid campaigns to expose content

  • Spearhead social media branding initiatives

  • Develop influencer strategy to help expose and proliferate our content, and to evangelize brand ambassadors

  • Develop measurable social media campaign strategies that incorporate brand goals and KPI across paid, owned and earned media

 

Performance based monthly bonus possible
