A nationwide private investigative agency is seeking enterprising investigative reporters and business reporters to assist in uncovering fraud. We are seeking those with persistence and excellent interviewing skills, an analytical mind and the ability to write clearly and precisely. If you have investigated publicly traded companies, understand GAAP and known how to read 10ks for hidden gems, then you have some of the assets we're seeking. The ideal candidate will have the ability to handle multiple projects and who can work on a deadline driven basis to achieve our goals. This position is perfect for a reporter who has left the profession through a layoff or early buy-out, or who has long term projects like book writing but would like to balance that with daily deadline driven work. This is a freelance subcontractor position for persons with a proven track record who can work 15 to 30 hours a week in 2018 and beyond. Use of Word compatible with Apple computers is a necessity. No travel required.
