Description:

The Franklin Press, a twice-weekly community newspaper located in Franklin, NC has an opening for a full-time reporter.  The successful candidate will be active in reporting on local news. He/she will also have a strong working knowledge of AP style, be able to handle a camera and have a clean, clear writing style that can make even the most confusing story simple for readers to understand. A degree in journalism is required. Page design skills are a plus. We’re seeking a reporter who understands community journalism and thrives in a team-based environment.
