Description:
The Aurora Sentinel is looking for a top-notch city reporter who can help us continue our reputation of award-winning feature and hard-news coverage. The person who gets the job will appreciate our being able to consistently scoop the competition in a fierce media market. We’re a well-read and highly regarded daily with a weekend edition circulation of 25K in this suburban city of 300,000. Candidates must have a degree in journalism or substantial previous newspaper experience. Candidates must not only be able to handle diverse assignments, but the reporter we hire will thrive on that challenge. We need a reporter who not only knows what the stories are inside the beat, but he or she can get them filed on time. You’ll join a newsroom made up of journalists who care deeply about what they do and have a lot of fun doing it.
