The Leader-Herald, a 12,000-circulation daily in upstate New York, is looking for an ambitious journalist to work as a sports reporter. The beat involves coverage of high school and college sporting events and in-depth coverage of local sports issues. Our sports reporters also look for light feature story ideas and strong 'enterprise.` The paper, which offers a competitive salary and benefits package, is in Fulton County amid the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains. The area has a rich history, many lakes and countless opportunities for outdoor recreation.
