Description:

The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, Western Pennsylvania’s largest newspaper, seeks an energetic reporter strong in spot news coverage. Candidates should be self-starters with at least two years of full-time experience on a daily publication and able to juggle multiple assignments. Experience in cops and court coverage is a plus, as is being well-versed in use of social media. A competitive spirit is critical in this two-newspaper city. The Trib, with a combined print and electronic circulation of 337,484, is based on Pittsburgh’s North Shore, between PNC Park and Heinz Field. Pittsburgh is a terrific news area and an affordable place to live. Often cited as one of the country’s most livable cities, Pittsburgh is home to several universities and has a thriving arts scene.
