Description:

The Food Institute, a New Jersey-based company, has an opening for a  food industry business writer to focus on government rules, regulations, and agencies that impact the food industry for our daily and weekly newsletters. Ongoing projects include improving and updating this eighty- six year old food research trade association's annual studies.

The qualified candidate must possess excellent writing, analytical, computer and interpersonal skills, as well as a college degree. Experience in QuarkXPress or a similar program is required.  The maximum starting salary for this position is $35,000 and is based on experience level.  The benefit package includes health and life insurance; 401k plan with company match; 2 weeks paid vacation after one year and a 40 hour week, (Monday through Friday, 8:00-4:00), as well as the opportunity for advancement, along with longevity and job security.
