Main Justice, a legal and political news publication covering the U.S. Department of Justice, is looking for an entry-level or early-career reporter with strong reporting and writing skills to work for our subscription vertical on the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. In addition to writing about the Justice Department's crackdown on companies that pay bribes overseas, you will cover Securities and Exchange Commission filings, court dockets, and Capitol Hill hearings, plus news stories related to the politics of the Department of Justice.

At Main Justice you'll gain experience reporting high-level business, political and legal stories. This unique combination of skills has helped previous Main Justice journalists go on to jobs at the Wall Street Journal, Huffington Post, Reuters and Bloomberg.

The successful candidate will have a degree in journalism and/or experience on a student newspaper, be an avid reader of the news, and also be comfortable with basic legal and financial concepts.
