Openings in Newspapers/Wires

2 openings remaining for full-time page designers to work on a centralized design desk in Salem, Ore. This is a new team to design EO Media Group's daily and weekly newspapers. Copy-editing and page design experience required, preferably using Adobe InDesign. Daily newspaper and/or magazine layout experience preferred. One shift will be a morning shift, 6 a.m. to 3 p.m., the other will be a day shift, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Must be able and willing to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Must be able to write accurate and engaging headlines and polish suggested headlines from front-line editors until they sparkle, plus have command of AP style and excellent attention to detail.
