General Assignment Reporter (Education)

The Philadelphia Tribune, an award-winning African-American newspaper, seeks an energetic and detailed - oriented reporter to cover local schools, colleges and universities.  Also, this reporter will be responsible to write some general assignment stories. Candidates with a degree in Journalism or related field with a minimum of three years newspaper experience preferred. Candidates should have strong reporting, interviewing, and writing skills. Good news judgment, accuracy, and the ability to meet deadlines are crucial.
