Description: The Temple Daily Telegram needs an experienced individual to lead our digital news efforts. The successful candidate will be a web-savvy, hands-on journalist, able to edit and write stories on deadline, shoot and edit videos, and post stories, breaking news and updates. Understanding social media as a tool to build audience and drive traffic is required. We're looking for someone who will teach and inspire newsroom colleagues, fostering a “digital first” culture that complements the daily print edition. Located in Central Texas in one of the country’s fastest-growing areas, the Temple Daily Telegram is owned by an individual who believes in quality community journalism.
