One of Oregon's best midsized dailies,The News-Review in Roseburg, is looking for an inquisitive and talented reporter. Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in journalism or a related field and at least one newspaper internship to be considered. Ideally, we'd like to see 1-3 years of newspaper reporting experience. Your beat will be specified later, but could include covering city government and social services. You’ll also have the opportunity for feature writing, general assignment reporting, shooting photos and writing for our website, nrtoday.com. The News-Review offers excellent photography, design and editing from an award-winning staff. We publish five afternoons a week and on Sunday mornings, with a circulation of about 17,500. We are situated in a beautiful part of Oregon, with plenty of outdoor recreation along the rivers and in the national forest. We're 80 miles from the beach and in an emerging region of wineries.
