Description:

The Reading Eagle, a family owned daily newspaper (70k Sunday; 50k daily), is seeking a full-time copy editor. Duties include editing local and wire copy, writing headlines and photo captions, editing A1, Web posting, subbing for the wire editor, directing some special projects and occasional writing. Candidates must have at least three years of full-time daily newspaper experience and a degree in journalism or English, know AP style and be able to edit accurately on deadline.
