Description: St. Paul-based publishing company 10 Missions Media is seeking a smart, talented, motivated summer intern to join its team producing the automotive service and repair industry's leading publications, FenderBender and Ratchet+Wrench. The intern will report and write daily for fenderbender.com and ratchetandwrench.com, contribute to the magazines' print editions, and be involved in our social media efforts, while working alongside seasoned reporters and editors. As part of the editorial team, the intern will take part in staff meetings, help develop story ideas and have a hand in the creation of two national publications serving a combined audience of 150,000 shop owners and managers. Hours are 8 a.m. to noon, Monday–Friday. Pay is $10 an hour. Qualifications: - Ideal candidate has or is seeking a degree in journalism, English, business or related field. - Writing experience from previous internships or school publications is preferred. - Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team. - Must be able to meet strict deadlines. - Ideal candidate has experience with a variety of social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google+.
