Description:
The Tooele Transcript Bulletin, a 115-year-old, twice-weekly newspaper in one of Utah's fastest-growing areas, seeks a general assignment reporter. Duties include writing on a wide range of topics from crime to courts to development issues, as well as occasional column writing. Applicants must have a working knowledge of Associated Press style, solid news judgement and the ability to consistently deliver quality stories on deadline. They should also be able to cultivate a wide variety of sources in different fields. Preference will be given to applicants with experience covering local and regional issues.
