Description:
A national media company is looking for a dedicated Editor-in-Chief to oversee the editorial team and content creation for Dog Fancy, DogChannel.com, and other dog and cat publications. Responsible for ensuring accuracy, integrity, and creative vision of the publications and website, and represents the publications within the community and industry.

Requirements: • BA or MA in English/Journalism/Communications • 10-15 years editorial experience • 8+ years in supervisory capacity • Strong management and leadership skills • PC/Mac proficient • Advanced AP, editing, and proofing skills • Proactive • Detail-oriented • Highly developed problem-solving skills • Willing to travel • Knowledge of dogs is a huge plus
