Communications Professional

Dynamic trade association located in Washington, DC, seeks a talented Writer who will write, edit, offer creativity and serve as project coordinator for communications that advance our policy message and member involvement. This individual will play a key role in ensuring the accurate reflection of our message and handle the majority of the writing and research for all of our publications.

This position requires an individual to meet stringent deadlines, write, edit and contribute to the design and production of brochures, meeting programs, invitations, HTML documents, Web pages and other printed and electronic communications using MS Word and QuarkXpress (on the Apple Macintosh computer).

A successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in English, communications, journalism or relevant subject and 3-5 years work experience in writing and editing. Experience covering public policy and business issues is highly desirable. Competitive salary and benefits package are offered. Only local candidates will be considered.
