The Kenosha News, a daily newspaper in southeastern Wisconsin, is seeking a reporting intern for the summer.
Candidates must be a sophomore, junior or senior in the journalism program with experience working for college and/or professional media.
Our internship is very much hands-on and very little hand-holding. Interns are expected to produce content for the newspaper, web and daily video newscast, so candidates that can show such experience will have the upper hand.
Interns work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends, covering a variety of beats and events.
The internship is for 10-12 weeks. Start date is flexible.
Deadline: March 1.
To apply, send a cover leter, resume and 5-7 examples of your work showing a range of experience (hard news, features, etc.) to email@example.com.
