About the Internships

Riverfront Times photo interns shoot a variety of editorial slideshows and blogs each week. Slideshow subjects include: concerts, art walks, cultural festivals, rallies, conventions and other news events. Shots from slideshows and blogs may also appear in the print edition. We encourage interns to present ideas that could be used for slideshows and other presentations on the web. Interns may also be invited to attend feature and cover shoots. In the past, interns have even photographed covers, features and restaurants for the print edition. Interns work closely with the art director to receive feedback on their work.

Riverfront Times video interns produce video content for the paper’s website to accompany its print features and online reporting. Video interns coordinate with the editor, reporters, web editor and art director to produce two brief segments each week, as well as two long-term projects over the course of the semester.
