The United States Specialty Sports Association (USSSA), headquartered in Osceola County, Florida, USSSA is the World’s Largest Multi-sport Athletic Organization. Founded in 1968, USSSA has grown to over 3.7 million participants, competing in 13 nationally sanctioned sports including Baseball, Fastpitch, Slow Pitch, Karate, Basketball, Soccer and more!
Posting Description: This ongoing writing position is for all college students and graduate students looking to cover sports on a daily bases and gain that valuable first step into the world of professional sports writing.

§ Includes both tournament coverage and feature stories on all sports
§ Log and Achieve articles
§ Research for our various sports
§ Perform Social Media duties
§ Be the liaison of information between state sport directors and the National office.
§ Cover major tournaments
§ Sports knowledge
§ Proficient writing ability and style knowledge
§ Journalism Major
§ Must possess communication and organization skills
§ Must be enrolled in a U.S. College/University taking at least one class at the time of application and in good academic standing
§ Must provide full work availability, which will include nights, weekends and holidays
§ Must provide own transportation to and from work – may have the ability to work remotely
