We are looking for a hardworking, motivated individual seeking to gain hands-on experience in the exciting world of marketing and public relations. As a marketing intern, you will become exceedingly versed in PR strategies pertaining to the telecommunications industry.
Responsibilities include compiling and managing equipment listings, coordinating press release distribution and blog posts, managing daily social media activity, implementing social media campaigns and initiatives to increase brand awareness, locating and posting to unique forums, press release writing, and various administrative duties necessary to learning all the facets of an in-house marketing position.
Length of Internship/Hours:
August/September – December 2013
Full Time, Part Time, Flexible Hours
This is a paid internship. However, students who wish to apply for academic credit in lieu of compensation are encouraged to do so and supervisors are happy to complete evaluations as required.
Strong writing, PC and communicative skills
Basic understand of public relations, marketing, social media
Must live in or be willing to commute to Hackensack, NJ
(For students seeking academic credit: Must be currently enrolled in a two or four year college degree program)
Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Advertising majors preferred.
A background in graphic design and coding is beneficial.
