Delack Media Group is seeking a dependable, hardworking, creative, multitasking, honest, fun, and ambitious part-time Documentary Intern to join our team for the 2013 Summer Semester.
About the company:
Delack Media Group is currently in pre-production on an investigative documentary feature. Based in Chicago’s Northwest suburb of Barrington (blocks from the train station), our Emmy-award-winning leadership has over extensive video production and broadcast news experience.
About the Internship:
Candidate will gain a tremendous amount of hands-on experience by researching historical news stories, screening potential interviews, transcribing interviews, and helping out with general office work. Intern will be able to assist our crew and learn about many aspects of documentary video production. Internship requires a minimum commitment of 16 hours per week and is unpaid. Internship runs from approximately 5/20/13 until 8/30/13. However, dates are flexible.
Enthusiastic and willing to learn with a positive attitude
High School Juniors/Seniors or College Students receiving school credit
Candidate should be seeking a career in journalism or documentary video production
General knowledge of video production
Must be willing to work independently and as part of a team
Must know how to use the internet for historical research
