Planet Ivy magazine is looking for enthusiastic people to write gaming news, opinion, and feature articles and gain experience at an active online publication. We are similar to Gamespot and N4G but with a heavier leaning to youth culture rather than gaming itself-we would be writing about major games and trends in gaming, not the new add-on for Call Of Duty, for example.
www.planetivy.com is a new and growing online magazine aimed at young people in the UK. Over the past month we've attracted around 300,000 pageviews and are looking to expand rapidly.
Next we want to grow our gaming section and are looking for passionate and articulate people to write about exciting developments in gaming and technology, that are relevant to young people. Although we are primarily London-based, there are opportunities to go to gaming events.
Writing for us is unpaid but you will receive close supervision to improve your writing, and will be part of a publication which achieves 300,000 pageviews per month. We have articles featured on Huffington Post and aim to get as many of our writers featured on HP as possible.
To apply, email applications[at]planetivy.com with an example of your writing and/or an idea for an article - no CVs please!
