The Las Vegas Review-Journal, in partnership with the National Association of Hispanic Journalists' Nevada chapter, has an opportunity like no other in a town like no other for two lucky aspiring journalists. Our interns will spend time on the city desk, features desk, and work for our Spanish-language weekly, El Tiempo.
If you want to end the summer of 2013 with a portfolio of stories ranging from crime scenes to political events to performing arts to entertainment to whatever else the colorful city of Las Vegas decides to bring, send your resume, cover letter and clips to Xazmin Garza, firstname.lastname@example.org. Put "amazing internship" in the subject line. Deadline to submit applications is March 1, 2013. Work starts May or June 2013 and lasts 10-12 weeks, depending on availability. Pay is $12.50 an hour.
