Arts and culture website rooted in street art and graffiti seeks Copy Writing/Editing Interns. Debuting as a print publication in 1993, our site is the authoritative voice in the street art community and a trendsetter in our industry, recognized for discovering and championing artists such as Os Gemeos and Barry McGee. After reaching cult status in the late 90's, we launched in 1998, one of the first websites dedicated to street art culture. We pride ourselves on bringing our readers access to the most exclusive events and most allusive artists. Today we continue to remain on the forefront of the global street art movement in addition to covering the latest in music, skate, style, and more, reaching an international audience daily.


*COPY WRITING/EDITING INTERNSHIP*

Responsibilities:
-Researching, writing and collaborating with other Editorial staff in all activities leading to publication
-Organizing and further researching subjects and editorial projects to produce quality, error-free news content
-Cooperate with brands internationally and locally to gather products
-Gather, organize and research relevant articles, features, interviews, product launches, etc and prioritize based on deadlines, relevance and exclusivity
-Using your own personal knowledge and experience to contribute ideas


Qualifications:
-Passionate and knowledgeable about graffiti culture, street art, music, skate and other forms of popular culture
?Strong grammar, punctuation and writing skills 
?Highly organized, detail oriented and enough social skills to collaborate successfully in a team environment 
?An obsessive compulsive approach to managing browser bookmarks, following blogs and reading RSS feeds 
?Motivation to stay on top of late breaking stories 
?Proficiency with HTML and / or SEO is a plus 
???Personal computer with word processing software (MS Word or equivalent)?
