We are seeking a journalism intern who has a nose for news.

We are a 501(c)3 charity, and we would like SOFT news stories covering the areas that we are helping. We would also like our journalists to write stories covering our charity's events, programs, and progress. This will allow us to engage viewers with stories of the people being affected and stories that connect these people to the cause. Our non-profit is working to promote sanitation in areas that are currently plagued by disease and indignity because of the crude, unsanitary conditions of the places in which they live.

We would like these stories to be written in a soft news format. We have compiled extensive research regarding the issue at hand, and we will gladly give this all to you. This entire internship will be an interactive and learning process. You will never be left stranded or asked to do something last minute or menial tasks. The vast majority of the writing will be no more than 800 words. These stories would be featured on our site and potentially in other news sources. You will get full credit for all of your writing. We hope that you will consider working with us and helping to support a great cause.

If you have additional questions, please email us.

**Internship is remote, which means it does NOT have to be on site. With modern technolog (IM, email, Skype, web-cam) location does not matter **

-Journalism/Communications major (Preferred)

-Interest in international news and events
-Ability to meet deadlines
-Great writing and communication skills

-Some research knowledge

**Internship is unpaid, but interns may be rewarded with college credit if your college allows it**
