Newspaper Tree is looking for a talented pool of journalists to join the team and make this unique media project a sustained force for solid investigative journalism in the border communities of El Paso, TX, Southern New Mexico and Northern Mexico. Newspaper Tree is a non-profit, online newspaper dedicated to investigative and community journalism.

An internship at Newspaper Tree is a unique opportunity for students and others to work with professionals dedicated to both the traditional principles of watchdog journalism and the journalism tools of the future. Internships available for up to 20 hours a week and are unpaid but interns can expect to actively participate in a variety of capacities as either community outreach interns, news interns, multi-media interns, project interns, and administrative interns.
Interns should be bilingual and familiar with multi-media tools, including social networking. Interns must be over 18.
